Demand Forecasting Tool

WHY BUILD THIS?

"So how are ticket sales going for this game?"

Answering that question required pulling together data from multiple disconnected sources: our primary ticketing system, a separate secondary-market feed, and historical season data.

Salesforce and Tableau were useful for standard reporting, but didn’t give me the flexibility to quickly analyze demand across different games, seasons, products, sales channels, and points in the sales cycle.

What it does

Turns raw ticketing exports into pacing curves that compare any game, this season or past seasons, at the same point in its sales cycle. "Is this game selling better than last year's?" takes seconds and can be compared across time horizons and channels.

This tool has been a key part of my workflow this season in comparing primary and secondary ticket data to past seasons. Keying in on group tickets through tiered pricing strategies, we have set records for group ticket revenue in 2026.
